I swear there was smoke coming out of the landlord's ears, he was so angry.  The only thing I had going for me was that he wasn't angry at me, he knows I'm the one being screwed in all this.

And being screwed is what I am.

I'm still on the lease.  I am also, by definition, the only responsible one in this arrangement.  Which means I'm the one that;s going to foot the bill for the damage to the carpet, the walls, the bathroom, the garage, the yards, and the kitchen.

Gah!!!!!!

I may not have had great plans for my weekend, but I didn't want to spend it cleaning out a house that I haven't lived in for 6 months.

The reason we post here is because it is NOT real time.  Most of us are at work and post replies between bouts of work (or other mundane tasks).  In this way TTTNE is a slow chat room where you can reply to something said whenever without looking like a prat.  Chat is more immediate and yes more wild and fun, but not practical when one is also trying to work.

Then  we shared a 5 lb lobster.  :drool:  Creme brulee for dessert with Mr. MLA sipping a 12 yr old cognac and I had hot tea. Then I joined Ria for after party. Mr. MLA came home.
